Automated Order Processing With PayPal
PayPal offer some great tools for payment processing on your website. Their fees are very low, and they've improved the interface to their site so you can find things more easily now.
When you use their service for the first time - an account is created for you. Payments go into your PayPal account. You can withdraw from this account into any validated bank account. PayPal now even offer their own credit/debit card!
PayPal offer a few different payment schemes:
- Single-Payment
- Shopping-Cart
- Subscriptions
- Donations
They offer to trigger a script on your website whenever any payment is made to you. This service is called Instant Payment Notification. It works very well!
PayPal will also process transactions in a number of different currencies including GBP and Euros.
